PGDP After doing research on Project Gutenberg's Distributed Proofreaders (PGDP, an online network of people who digitise books for Project Gutenberg), I decided to take one book and reveal the proces of digitisation in its design. The way a book is digitised happens in roughly 7 stages: scanning, proofreading round 1, 2 and 3, formatting round 1 and 2 and post-processing: publishing the e-book online at www.gutenberg.org.
